May 22nd 2009: 2000 schools joined ENO Tree Planting Day for biodiversity

The very first ENO Tree Planting Day on 22nd of May gathered 2000 schools from 110 countries to plant over 100 000 trees. 50% of schools came from Indonesia, 400 schools from Malaysia and 200 schools from Romania.

22nd of May is an international day for biodiversity. ENO Programme want to support this important issue and schools planted only indigenous trees.
